Many popular websites run by public organizations are built on the WordPress platform. It is important that these sites are very scalable. Amazon Lightsail helps ensure that they can handle high traffic situations.

Given these requirements, the features that make WordPress so popular for public websites can sometimes be a challenge to manage if the website is not set up properly.

How To Build And Launch A WordPress Site
It is possible to switch from the above-premises option to the overall expansion option, and then rebuild the platform and structure for easy expansion over time.
You can launch your WordPress site in minutes on your own Virtual Private Server (VPS) using Amazon Lightsail. It runs the WordPress application and database server on the same VPS. If you choose to implement horizontal scaling, your WordPress site will be able to continue scaling as long as the cloud provider provides the status. However, scaling horizontally requires making a decision to replicate the platform when releasing software levels.
Another benefit of horizontal scaling is that when you rebuild your application tiers with horizontal replication, you can also place them in different data centers. In this case, you place them in data center collections called Availability Zones. Amazon Lightsail makes it easy to find and update the many services you need to build high availability, durability, security, and fault tolerance for your workloads.
Consider a way to increase equity based on Amazon Lightsail. When you rebuild the platform, you can enable maintenance mode for your WordPress site so that the database does not get out of sync between production and deployment.

When rebuilding the core of your site, make changes to the platform area rather than the product. You can replicate an existing WordPress site that has been migrated to a single VPS instance on Lightsail. To do this, simply create a template image and select Create New Template. Database is the most important resource for any application to ensure scalability, fault tolerance and high availability. Lightsail makes it easy to set up a highly available, managed database using Amazon RDS for MySQL. After logging into the management console, you can access Lightsail Databases and leave administration to Lightsail to launch a fully configured MySQL or PostgreSQL database in minutes.
Type the name of your database as you will need it when you migrate your database from VPS database to Amazon RDS. Next, select High Availability, which creates a primary/secondary cluster in multiple availability zones and keeps the secondary database in sync based on updates to the primary database. After creating the database, it may take some time to configure the Amazon RDS high availability cluster. Go to other steps when you complete this step. Next, transfer or dump the database of your MySQL VPS database to import into the Multi-AZ RDS database. For example, run the following command in an SSH terminal:
Once the RDS database is ready, obtain the database endpoint, username, and password to run the import command.

Now, import the previously obtained SQL dump into the RDS database. Note that the default DB-NAME is dbmaster when configuring RDS in Lightsail, as described in the previous step.
You can check if the RDS database is creating WordPress tables by running the following query. Enter the query in a new file called table.sql, then replace backup.sql in the previous command:
File, check the services running on your instance and stop the VPS MySQL database. Then restart the Apache server.
Even if the VPS stops the MySQL database, your blog will still run because it is now serving the database from Amazon RDS.

Before the next step, make sure you have installed the required plugins for your WP environment. Most plugins update WP files, only one server is updated based on the admin account you’re logged into.
When implementing high availability in WordPress, you need to provide static assets such as images from a single source shared by multiple `wp-core` instances. Please see the WordPress Best Practices article on it and the section “Uploading Static Content” which recommends uploading static content to Amazon S3 using a WordPress plugin like W3 Aggregate Cache. You can also use WP Offload Media Lite, a plugin intended for this use case.
A possible solution for adding plugins after splitting the load between multiple WP Core servers is to create a large version deployment environment. Create a snapshot from an existing server, then create a new instance from the snapshot. After the upgrade, point the server back to the load balancer, as follows in this deployment scenario.

In these cases it is time to set up a load balancer to distribute the traffic directly. Attach each case individually.
Check if the load balancer is rotating the traffic between the two instances by removing the bit name tag to one. Specifies the DNS name provided by the load balancer. You can enhance these security measures by adding SSL-based encryption to access web resources hosted on Lightsail. You can also add SSL support to the load balancing configuration. Once done, you may need to use one of the available WordPress plugins to resolve the HTTPS URL mixup issue.
