The diagram shows how Amazon ECS launches, monitors, and scales applications using elastic computing capabilities with automatic integration with other services. Developers describe their applications and the resources they need, and Amazon ECS provides the rest. Operators perform system operations such as creating custom scaling and capacity policies, and monitoring and querying application and telemetry logs. Three sections appear from left to right.

Serverless Compute Engine–aws Fargate–amazon Web Services

The first part shows an illustration of two different people, vertically, one below the other. The illustration at the top of the section is called Developers. The description reads: “Write your application and the resources it needs, then let Amazon ECS do the rest. The image below is titled “Operators” and the description says “Create your own rules for scaling and capacity. Track and query data from application and telemetry logs. Both shapes have arrows pointing to the other part.

The second part shows an icon representing Amazon ECS. The section is called “Amazon Elastic Container Service”. The two arrows point to different parts of the third section. The first arrow at the top is “Configuration” and the second arrow below it is “Introduction and Zoom”.

The third part consists of two parts. This section is called “Automatic integration with other services.” The icons next to each other show the different services: Elastic Load Balancing, Secret Manager, and Amazon Elastic File System.

The second section in the third section is located in front of the arrow from the second section, entitled “Introduction and sizing”. The section is called “Flexible Computing”. Nearby icons show different compute options: “Fargate”, “Amazon EC2 Graviton; Intel, Amazon ECS Anywhere, Outposts, Local Zones, etc. “Wavelength”. The arrow points to the leaf in the adjacent illustration on the right. This illustration is titled “Amazon Elastic Container Registry” and reads “Creating and maintaining container images using Amazon ECR or other container images.”
